Spirit Of Analog, in partnership with Oracle Records and Gifted Management, is proud to present the first cassette edition for Nightshade, the 2017 debut studio album by Toronto-based R&B artist a l l i e.

This exclusive transparent purple sonic first edition is limited to 100 copies, and has been carefully duplicated on Recording The Masters SM-911 Type 1 tape to ensure the truest and highest fidelity possible for the format. The cassette features a metallic gold ink pad print and graphite slipsheet for ultimate sound quality experience and preservation. The deluxe j-card features Yung Yemi's original artwork and a new cassette layout featuring photos, liner notes, and lyrics - all available for the first time in a physical format. 

Nightshade is a lush and cosmic journey through a l l i e’s creative world. Drawing from a cross-section of genres and influences - from Otis Redding and Etta James, to Flying Lotus and Little Dragon - the ten-song album helped land a l l i e international recognition and her first spot on Canada's Polaris Music Prize longlist in 2018. It features collaborations with Canadian artists and producers including Charlotte Day Wilson, River Tiber, Birthday Boy, Noam, Dan Only, The Kount, Harrison, Sunclef, and 2nd Son.
